Hike of approximately 12 kilometers with a minimum duration of 4 hours, between two communities surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes. The trail is easily passable due to its excellent condition and the presence of a suspension bridge over the Savegre River.<\/p><p>Departure at approximately 8:30 am to take the trail into the mountain, where you will see secondary and primary forests at different elevations, making this a journey with ample opportunities to see wildlife. There will be times to pause and chat with your guide and then arrive at the rural community Providencia de Dota, where the best Costa Rican mountain scenery awaits you, a delicious traditional lunch at the end of lunch, you will have private transportation in a community car who will take you back to your hotel in San Gerardo de Dota.<\/p><p>This hike, in the direction of San Gerardo de Dota &amp; Providencia de Dota, is considered moderate intensity from 2200 meters above sea level to 1700 meters above sea level with a calm and pleasant
