Tierra Amiga
Costa Rica has seven varieties of coffee; it is a very high-yield area ideal for producing and harvesting these beans. The higher areas, the land above 1,200 meters above sea level, are of volcanic origin, where the coffee is more robust or acidic and more aromatic. San Marcos de Tarrazu is located at 1,429 meters above sea level. Tierra Amiga is a Rural Community Tourism enterprise offering a cultural tour and peasant traditions focused on organic coffee.
