Located in Guaitil, Santa Cruz, Guanacaste. Guaitil is a small village located on the outskirts of Santa Cruz, the main centre of Costa Rican folklore. In this village, the community maintains the tradition of transforming clay into ceramic pots, the whole process is done by hand, these are adorned with the natural colours of the earth pigments, maintaining the artisanal process of the pre-Columbian art of the Chorotegas.

In this cultural experience, you will be able to learn the process of making clay pots and ceramics, and you will also have the option to have a class in the preparation of the famous and traditional roquillas, tanelas and homemade bread, Guanacasteco.
