Description:
You will be welcomed at the association’s ranch, where the entrance to the reserve is located, and where you will begin your journey in this community. It is a Juanilama Ecological Reserve, a 25-hectare primary forest that protects an impressive waterfall. You will see abundant trees and fauna. It has a route of 2 km with a duration of approximately 1 hour.
We then take a break and go to Mrs. Guiselle’s house to take part in a cooking class, which you will probably never forget because her cooking classes are so unique and special. Here we will prepare our lunch with the family.
Finally, you can choose between having an artisan soap class or making a card with banana balsam paper with Doña Elena. You can also choose to take a farmer’s tour with Yamileth, where you can see the production of 100% organic products since they prepare their fertilizers. You will taste organic pineapples, cocoa, coffee, achiote, Chicana potato, medicinal plants, and more.
