Description:

Leaving Zompopas Trails in Playa Blanca at 5:00 am towards Carate, this journey lasts approximately 2 hours and on the way we pass through secondary and primary forest where we have often had the chance to observe different species of the area including coatis, large peacock, toucans, the three species of monkeys, anteaters and others.
Arriving at Carate we leave the 4*4 and start the hike of approximately 15 km round trip. Then we return to enjoy a snack and start the return trip to Zompopas where we are expected with a delicious lunch, this at approximately 3:00 pm.
