On this day, you will walk for about 1 hour to the Hacienda, passing through a Maca bridge. The wife of your cowboy, Miguel, will welcome you with a delicious natural fresco. Then, you will settle into your rooms to rest and then take a tour of local fruits with their respective tastings.
For dinner, you will have a cooking class to make your dinner.
Lodging at Hacienda Rio Carara
Breakfast and get ready for the first hikes to the 2 waterfalls El Repollito where you can swim in the refreshing water and then continue to the other waterfall called El Acelote where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest.
This hike is for beginner – intermediate with a duration of 3 hours in total with a duration of approximately 1.5 km.
You will return for lunch and then take your last hike of 4 hours total with an intermediate-advanced level to the Mirador El Alto where you will have the opportunity to observe the Central Pacific if the weather permits.
You will then return for your last dinner.
Overnight at Hacienda Rio Carara.

Breakfast en route (box breakfast) because your departure will be at 6 am if you are in a group for an intermediate-advanced level hike of approximately 3 hours, bordering the Carara National Park, crossing rivers and streams; the road is muddy. You will meet the minibus in the village of El Sur de Turrubares, which is a very ecological village, and from there, you will continue in the minibus until you reach Villa Lapas, which lasts 45 minutes and the road is partly gravel and partly asphalt.
If you are an individual, you will have breakfast, walk the same route as on the first day, and then have a private transfer to the hacienda owner’s house to park your car and continue with your itinerary.
Both options include the invaluable assistance of your Pacquiao, Miguel. He will be your guide and companion throughout the hike, ensuring your safety and providing insights into the local flora and fauna.
For cancellations without penalty must be canceled 24 hours before the date. Reservations canceled in less time will have a 100% penalty.
