Arrival on your own in San Gerardo de Rivas to the hotel. It is recommended to arrive around 2pm, time to relax and enjoy the rural tranquility of the area. In the evening enjoy your dinner and overnight at El Pelicano.

After breakfast, you will visit the community of Canaan, where a small family cheese company is located, and where you will receive a talk about the whole cycle that has been done to make this a sustainable farm. After lunch, you can walk to the Secret Gardens, a unique place where you can walk among trails amidst a great diversity of plants, and flowers, a viewpoint in the middle of the garden, and bird watching—a perfect place to relax. Finally, return to the hotel, where you will enjoy your dinner. Overnight at El Pelicano.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a hike in the Cloudbridge Private Reserve. This nature reserve extends from 1,550m to 2,600m and is dedicated to cattle grazing, agriculture, conservation & reforestation of the primary cloud forest. The reserve offers trails where you can observe wildlife and waterfalls, at moderate and expert levels. After the hike, return to the hotel where you will enjoy lunch and then check out.
