This nature reserve stretches from 1550m to 2600m (5085-8530 ft) in the Talamanca mountains of Costa Rica. Since 2002, 255 hectares (630 acres) of cattle pasture or cultivated land with a further 28 hectares (70 acres) of primary forest has been purchased by the reserve. Since its beginning, Cloud bridge has been dedicated to conservation and reforestation of the cloud forest.
The reserve offers many kilometers of hiking trails that range in difficulty from moderate to strenuous. Each trail has special qualities, including unique wildlife, waterfalls or mountain views. The reserve is open from sunrise to sunset, but the best hiking conditions are usually in the morning, when it is typically cooler and the skies are clear. You can choose from a moderate to a strenuous hike.

Wilberth Mata and his wife Kattia Hernández have been making cheese for the past nine years. Their expertise is a result of both coincidence and hard work. You will listen to the story first hand and understand the entire cycle to make this a sustainable farm.
After lunch, you will visit and enjoy the Rio Blanco Reserve, a garden of approximately 350 m2, that hosts around 700 species of orquids between natives and foreign, as Pleurothallis, Mcsdevallias, Dráculas, and Oncidium, you can find bromeleas, heliconias, and so much more.
